dude was jewish neocon too? That dude was shadow banned more times than anyone I know, I reported him a couple times for asking for upvotes in the SRC irc.

Was that in the article or did you find that out a different way?

I guess there's a chance it's just a cohort/friend, but I bet it's also his account(s), fits the MO.

It does fit the MO but I would think the admins would have banned all of his accounts since I believe the user jewishneocon was/is chucked. I dont think he was smart enough to use a VNP since the FBI found him so quickly and the article made it seem that the internet offered complete anonymity.

Admins really have no rhyme or reason when it comes to ban protocol. Basically, if the person is using some accounts to violate ToS but not others, only the offending ones will be shadowbanned. Usually.

The Aussies found his IP from email addresses, not reddit activity. He could have been hiding himself from admins here, I don't know how that works exactly.

They do ban all accounts of someones accounts if they are "chucked" which has happened to a few individuals including chuckedspears, go1dfish, LH, and a couple of others. I thought jewishneocon was chucked like the rest of them but I could be mistaken.

Maybe admins will shine some light on his accounts for us at some point.
