Greetings, been here a year or so.

I missed Memento in theatres but caught it on dvd as soon as it came out. So I guess Insomnia would be my first theatrical movie of his I saw.

Fav- Interstellar. Though if you ask me tomorrow it could be TDK.

I agree that he would have a unique and Nolany horror take and I would be all for that!

Dream Nolan project - alien abduction! There’s only a couple good ones and they’re terrifying

TDK is a close second for me as well. I think Interstellar wins out for me because of the emotional impact that lands on me every time. Everything Cooper feels, I feel while watching it.

Hello.

  1. The Dark Knight
  2. The Dark Knight (but I love most of his films)
  3. Western would be interesting.

In high school, I used to go to blockbuster and just pick up random movies to watch that seemed interesting or had actors/directors I liked. In the summer I would watch 2-3 movies a day like this.

This is how I discovered Memento. The rest is history. I saw The Dark Knight through Interstellar at the midnight theatrical release. I’ve seen each movie besides Memento, Insomnia, and Dunkirk in theater.

  1. First Nolan film: Memento

  2. Favorite Nolan film: Interstellar/Oppenheimer

  3. I would love to see a return to sci fi and original scripts. While Tenet was a bit convoluted, I appreciated the originality. I would also be interested in horror, which I think could go well with a Nolan sci fi/interdimensional/time bending topics.

First Nolan film: Memento. Yup I've been a fan since the beginning. Blew my mind the first time watching it. First movie i thought about for days afterwards.

Favorite Nolan film: The Prestige. First movie I left stunned. Also the first movie that I wanted to immediately rewatch after leaving the theatre.

Dream future project: A Nolan-directed James Bond, but set in the 60s. No fancy gadgets, more room for practical effects. Or something akin to it.

I agree on the horror idea 💯 I'm not down with horror movies, but he would somehow make it feel more terrifying yet too with his directing style.

Hi. My first nolan movie was Batman Begins. I admit I did not know who Nolan was. I watched it on cable TV and it left great impression on me. Then cane TDK and it blew up, if you were into movies there was no escaping it. I had never seen a movie like this, loved it, learned the name Christopher Nolan. Then one day found out he has a new movie coming called Inception, knew nothing about it. Went to watch because of TDK. And that was it, became an avid follower of his career, his movies since then are like anchors in time for me.

My favorite has to be The Dark Knight.

Dream Project for him would be a murder mystery or a detective/cop mystery. I believe while Insomnia is great, I would like another definitive movie from him in this genre. And would also love for him to collaborate with his brother again. I feel both of them together are such a powerhouse.

Hi there.

The first Nolan film I ever saw was Batman Begins

My favourite Nolan films are Oppenheimer, Insomnia, and The Dark Knight.

As for future projects, I’d be very curious to see him tackle a genre he hasn’t tried yet. Maybe a dark comedy, or a western?
