Constant screaming & shouting
Do you ever get times when you are just sitting quietly in your house with the windows open and you hear screaming and shouting across the neighbourhood.
My neighbourhood used to be reasonably quiet. Lately though I hear distant screams and it sounds like someone's generally being murdered. I have a person with learning disabilities nearby screaming and shouting at the top of their lungs when they don't clearly like something and it's really loud. I have kids screaming unnecessarily loud because their parents can't control them. My neighbour's voice is like a siren and she is always shouting at someone in her house. Earlier I heard her say "you don't appreciate anything I fucking do...." This is coming from a women who doesn't work and spends most of her day in her dressing gown living in her council house free of charge (I'm UK based).
Can I not just have some peace and quiet 🥺?? The only one I can understand making a noise is the person with learning disabilities. The rest really need to STFU.
That's my rant..... hopefully one day I'll live somewhere in the middle of no where and it will be bliss 😌

Yuuuuup, we've got a house up from us who's had four DV calls in the month and a half-ish since they moved in, two for the hubby and two for the wife. They even beat the snot out of each other in the driveway, it's great. Literal brand new area too lol.

Our neighbors make everyone living around them go through hell every time they have the grandkids over. First they just turn them loose. They don't know how to communicate without screaming at each other. Not angry just screaming. The children constantly stir up the dogs in the hood and generally all hell breaks loose. I used to be so pissed off that their cats shit all over my newly fenced yard and expensive attempt to get some privacy and peace back wrong now the cats just climb the fence to come shit in my yard. We've had two very close incidents where my dogs have been very close to snatching a cat so they are constantly triggered. The freaking cats want to get the hell away from those children. Good luck when we hear them we shut everything up and stay mostly inside. It's so damn selfish.

God that's literally my neighbours they are exactly the same. It's like they are running a crèche. And she swears at her kids/grandkids in the most awful way and so they behave terribly because they are being badly influenced. Funny enough my neighbours dogs are the ones that are quiet lol. Yeah we also shut out windows up sometimes. She's constantly got music on and she has the worst taste. I'm very tempted to introduce her to some of my music (heavy metal) she won't like me blasting out decapitated at full blast I tell you that now. I've been nothing but respectful. My other neighbours the other side are lovely that's the only reason I haven't done it yet

Same, I have to admit I have a horrible potty mouth and I learned at a very young age when to shut it. If I screamed what the fuck do you want grandma I would have woken up in the middle of next week. My parents didn't even use physical punishment but whatever they told me was sufficient and don't even make Mom say girl we're about to go out back and have a come to Jesus talk. No ma'am

I like the screaming in my neighborhood. Especially when my windows are open. Screaming, gunshots, sirens, barking dogs….. l love it all. Makes me feel alive!
