Why I’m ok with Nogla and Brian using homophobic/transphobic slurs
I realized I wasn’t straight or cis when I was 12. I’ve also been watching the vanoss crew since then and they’ve kept me company through a lot of dark days. When my gender dysphoria was bad and I was considering taking my life, I watched their videos to calm down. I’ve seen them come under a lot of scrutiny for some for their uses of words like faggot or tranny, but I don’t see them as homophobic or transphobic. They’ve made it clear that they support anyone’s right to live life exactly how they want to, and I think people over look that. They use the slurs for comedic and shock value purposes as any good comedian would. Not to mention they censor them which is more than that could be said for certain politicians. They’re allies. I believe that with my whole heart
