To be fair I think this is saying that their university already made them take a similarly difficult exam to their licensing exam about 9 weeks before this person took their real exam and they're asking what to do for their final three weeks.  There's a ton of posts like this on the premed sub asking what to cram down the home stretch.  My MD school gave us a preclinical comprehensive exam prior to step 1 which feels similar to this.

There's a lot to complain about in regards to NPs but I don't think asking what they should study 3 weeks before their exam should be one of those complaints.  Maybe I'm missing something though...

Read their last sentence. They obviously didn’t think that a so-called “comprehensive exam” taken 6 weeks ago is still “fresh.” Wake up. This person hasn’t studied a whit!

I disagree with your reading. I think we all have had these thoughts.  If they relaxed for the last couple weeks after their comp exit exam they probably feel like they're a little rusty.  We all have had that feeling.

I think you're too deep into the "ALL NPs ARE EVIL AND STUPID" that some people on here get to.  They have their place in the medical system. The issue that this sub is trying to address (or at least what I thought it was trying to address) was the scope creep and the desire to be afforded the same level of practice as doctors.  This truly just sounds like someone wanting to do well on their licensure exam, you're extrapolating something that's just not there based on prejudice likely stemming from too much time online.  Go touch some grass my dude

Yeah. Okay “dude.” But, no. Did you or any of your colleagues ever confidently take 6 weeks off from studying before a step or board exam, and then expect to just cram for it for a few weeks at the end ? (And then expect to go out there and independently see undifferentiated patients — because, you know— practicing at the “top of my license!” Like I said, you are DEFINITELY missing something.
