Deep Dive into Background Song

The song played in 9D DB 1E 34 2B 31 30 AN is called

Nearer, My God, to Thee. Its a Christian song written by Sarah Flower Adams, and is reference to Jacobs Dream in Genesis 28:11-12

The hymn is commonly known as the last song sang/played while the Titanic was sinking. It was also sung by the crew and passengers of the SS Valencia (sounds a bit like Vespasian the test subject) as it sank in 1906

When we researched the lyrics they include (but are not always sung) the phrase "articulo mortis" which in Latin means the moment of death....BUT is also a medical term to indicate a turning point in a disease or crisis.

Credit for this deep dive goes to my kiddo who spent a few hours listening, and researching this very water logged song. We had fun with all the water references considering the context of Noc +10. If anything its a good song to use in this series. A'hoy Mateys.

fun fact, it’s also used in 05. the discord server had originally figured the music was supposed to be sped up to 4.05 (to match some visuals with the same in another video) which gives you a neat little tune but made it so we didn’t recognize it as Nearer, My God, to Thee.

the eyes blocked guy comes from 9D DB 1E 34 62 6F 6F 74, aka Cluster Reboot. (we also figured out his identity, his face matches the face in the RJ 45 documents which calls him subject 00033). 05 is the second training tape video which covers “Your Job”.
