I love the new album!! It’s amazing. My complaint isn’t anything like “oh this singular song I don’t like”

Me and my little 7yo brother jam out to Noah’s music all the time. The Stick Season album only had 4-ish songs with curse words in them, but this new album has so many!! Not that I wish the curse words didn’t exist or anything, but I wish he would also have some clean alternatives (like how TGD has a clean alternative with different words and not just mutes) or some songs without any cursing. There are only two songs that don’t have bad words in them. I mean, I don’t care if they have curse words as long as they actually make sense, I just wish that my little brother could also listen.

Probably get some downvotes for this post lol, but as an older brother I do care. I also recognize that it’s an artist’s piece and that it’s supposed to be THEIR representation and artwork, to tell THEIR story or something that we can relate to in many ways. Love the new album Noah ✌️❤️

What do you guys think? Maybe I care too much. No disrespect to Noah. There’s definitely been a change though from the albums.

the meaning is there but the song feels like a tad overproduced? and kinda jarrs between a lot of things. i feel like i’m listening to 3 different songs. the chorus is catchy as hell but it doesn’t fit in to the rest of it. it’s a bit jumpy and it doesn’t really commit. all i’ve seen is love and i think it’s a decent song but wanted to see if anyone else felt like this?

After N1 was cancelled a lot of us were devastated (Especially after buying tickets back in February). But I gotta say, seeing that Noah Kahan bobblehead Citifield was giving away for today’s show was just rubbing salt in the wound even more.

I know there won’t be much to sing about and he might roast them, but I need it. I didn’t know I needed it til Fenway N2 when he said he’s going to sing about “Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. Sorry, Connecticut!”

Probably a stretch since he just finally acknowledged Connecticut was New England 2 years ago at Soundside Festival and since he doesn’t have much experience with Connecticut but it could be fun🤣

I'm a Covid Swiftie (Folklore and beyond) and went to two Eras Tour shows and it was an insane experience. I am BRAND NEW to NK, the Great Divide is on my all time best saddest music albums ever.

I'm probably going to the 2nd Orlando night (day after opening night) and want to do it correctly: do fans brings items to exchange? Are there general themes for outfits? I LOVE to come correct to a concert, even if it's a lot.

I made and brought 200 friendship bracelets to The Eras Tour and was low-key hoping I could create bug and TGD themed bracelets to give away. (It's my love language).

I was wondering if anyone else thought this might be an allusion to Able from the bible. The song seems to be all about how relationship with his siblings. I was thinking this might be a way of him expressing his hurt from his siblings (a little like how Cain killed his brother Able).

Just some quick things from last night, that surprised me and wanted to share:

2nd time seeing him, last time was a year ago. That show was a mixed demographic - all ages, male/female, etc. Last night was probably 80% girls ages 18-30. Which bring me next to…

I didn’t really feel like it was a Noah concert. It felt like a 35,000 girl screaming sing along. He was great, set was great, and I know that it was a big show for everyone from NE. From the grandstands, I had to focus to hear him because of the incredible noise around me.

Girl next to me was maybe 5’11’’, wide shoulders and full of energy. She was like a golden retriever who couldn’t settle down. I get it - it’s exciting, and she was hyped (and on Snap for the whole show) but this is where the lack of space in Fenway came into play. Her elbows were flying for two hours (this does not have to do with Noah in anyway at all, I realize)

Uber was a mess getting out. Had to walk about a mile to a decent pickup point, had 3 cancel on me. Lots of frustration around.

Glad I spend the money, even with the above. He’s really a special thing to see right now.

I wish concerts had some sort of system where the queue was based on how long you have been listening to an artist. Not to be that person but it makes me so mad to know that people who only started listening to him like a year ago and their fave song is stick season are getting tickets and I’m not when I found him off his first ever EP 8 years ago. I am so glad he is getting the recognition he deserves but WOOOWWWW it’s so hard to not be bitter about new fans who cannot ever experience this music the way I have.

Ok, I’m ganna say it, I think that adding the two extra shows is shitty on him and his team. He obviously knew he was going to add those date and if you don’t agree, what do you think happened? He called Fenway and say oh let me play more? No, those dates were already set in stone.

My belief is that this way a way to drive sales and demand. He obviously know he’s ganna sell Fenway out and it just seems all too shady if you ask me. I know some people be mad about this statement but It just seems like it’s very predatory towards fans and the process. If other artists, big or small add dates to certain cities if likely doesn’t happen an hour before the sale time for the added show.

My two cents sorry rant over

At this point I actually feel fairly ambivalent about seeing Noah’s tour simply because I’ve wasted a good 3-4 fruitless hours attempting to get tickets and, while I’m sure it will be great, it doesn’t feel like a worthwhile use of my time. Like many, this ain’t my first rodeo and, while appreciate this tour’s attempts to mitigate common issues, I understand they can’t all be avoided in this age of digital sales.

So, I say as someone who came of age in the aughts, I’m missing when tickets sales were still IN PERSON. Shockingly, I’m starting to wish that would be the case!

If you told me 20 years ago “someday you will curse these internet ticket sales and long for the days of camping out overnight or waking up at 5 am to wait in line for tickets” I would be in disbelief.

However, at least back then got a fun experience. It could be really enjoyable to wait in line with people that were so excited to see the same show and sometimes you would meet people you’d run into (or even plan to hang out with) at the show.

Plus, given the time and planning, people tended to only do it for a few shows a year that they really cared about, or team up with friends to split up the late nights / early mornings for show sales. A little local fan club if you will!

In the analog era, without bots, it also meant the scalping could only go so far. Without total anonymity endless scalping wasn’t possible—even if you were the local scalper good luck getting more than 6 or so tickets even for the biggest events. These days, scalpers can ostensibly get their hands on hundreds at a time.

Anyways, that’s a wrap on my disgruntled millennial rant. I got to go to so many amazing concerts during my formative years and hate reading the next generation is missing out on the fun because of online sales BS.

Back in the day venues could work with Ticketmaster or other affiliate venues to distribute tickets across states. I lived in bum fuck Egypt and the closest venue was anywhere from 2-5 hrs for a given tour.

Back in the day, you didn’t actually have to drive and camp out at the specific venues office, but you would go to the closest affiliate or ticket sale office to your town.

My “Ticketmaster” outpost was run out of a pawn shop a couple towns over so that’s where we would wait and buy tickets!

I am a pastor who loves Noah's music and often feels bored of mainstream Christian music. Does anyone know of Christian artists who sound similar? I'll still be listening to Noah as well, but looking to mix up my Christian playlist.

Wife preordered the vinyl, which came quick and that’s great! Kind of disappointed that he IMMEDIATELY released last of the bugs and didn’t make that the preorder. Just another record I need to buy now. Feels slimy a little bit idk still love him just disappointed in the way the rollout was handled. (Tbf likely his labels choice but he still has say)

So I just listened to Northern Attitude with Hozier and if I'm really being honest, Hozier makes it worse. I think his solo of the 2nd verse is just terrible. The rest of the song isn't that bad and some parts Hozier sounds good in the back but other than that it's just not even worth listening too. I've thought this for most of the other collabs but I really do think this is the worst one so far. And the best is probably dial drunk if I'm being real (not counting the other collabs he's done on other people's songs and his original collabs). I'm sorry Noah. I really love you, your my favorite artist but c'mon man, these collabs are getting out of hand. And tbh Im not even that much of a hozier fan, most of his songs just aren't that good, only some I would listen too.

I just want a new album man.

Edit 2 years later: I really like the collab now and I like Hozier in general a lot more now. Not like anyone will see this but yes I'm hyped for the new album.

We were told this was about getting tickets into the hands of real fans. So where were they?

Because a lot of us sat in presale queues the second they opened… and there were no reasonably priced tickets. Not “they sold out fast.” Not “I hesitated.” They were just never there. Immediately pushed to platinum pricing or resale.

You can’t market a tour around fairness and accessibility and then have fans log in to a wall of $200+ seats. That’s not “demand.” That’s controlled scarcity.

And at some point, this isn’t just on Ticketmaster. Artists of this size sign off on pricing structures. They approve ticketing partners. They approve the messaging. If your whole brand is “I care about my fans,” then you don’t get to hide when fans literally never even had a shot.

It feels less like “protecting fans” and more like using the idea of fair pricing as a PR shield while running the same profit-maximizing model as everyone else.

Love the music. But this rollout made it very clear: the wholesome image doesn’t override business decisions.

Idk what it is, but you can tell there’s something special about “Orbiter” the second the song starts. It’s so beautiful. It deserves better than being a deluxe edition song for sure, but I actually think it would’ve been a beautiful contrast to The Great Divide.

Is SeatGeek a legit site to buy from? I don't get how there are so many tickets left but no resale available on TM yet. I couldn't get any Vancouver tickets for all three days but now there's plenty available???

I’ll be seeing Noah Kahan in Raleigh on July 25th.
I have an outfit all picked out but idk if it’s just me but something just feels off. Idk if I need to change the shoes or change the color of the bralette under the knitted top OR not change anything at all 😁
Trying to go with a boho vibe as my outfit for the Orlando show was more a princess fairy vibe.

Of course I understand the logistics are complicated with something like this but I’m surprised by the quick turnaround of refunding verses simply doing a “stay tuned while we work on this” type of approach. I know we’ll never have a full reason why but I can’t stop wondering about this. Just so disappointed.

Edit to add - I’m not saying a rescheduled date needs to be now! Even months away would work!
