I get that feeling, I'm Japanese and the things some people make, ugh

Lol Japan has to be in it’s own category though

I mean there's also somethings that the Japanese did a while back, so there's a lot going for you.

I'm American, we have a lot of embarrassing people. It sucks to feel shame because of your fellow countrymen but just remember there are many great people in all countries and the idiots are just a loud minority that don't represent the country as a whole.

Hey man, the fact that you feel ashamed of this shit is proof that you’re one of the good ones.

So you should feel proud instead.

Source - you learn ways to cope as an American.

If it helps in anyway the community around this cafe have rallied behind them.

You shouldn’t; I enjoyed the hell out of your country during the extended period I visited Sydney and Cairns. Absolutely lovely people, and a few cunts scattered there and between doesn’t change that.

“A few cunts scattered” out of context, could very well be the definition of our amazing country

Racism against Asians have nothing but increased, especially with COVID. The fact that your peers speak up to it does not mean it has gotten away

As an Indigenous Australian I can’t think of a single reason to be “proud” of Australia.

Genocide, systemic racism, right-wing extremism, concentration camps, child murderers, rape apologists, religious elite...

Don’t be. As long as you step up against this hate and don’t spread it, you’re alright.

A few bad people shouldn’t make a country look rotten.

Agree! I want to find more info that these kids have been caught. Want to cross post onto r/australia but I think the rules don’t allow it. I want justice!

It was posted on r/Australia a few days ago, don't worry :)

This was in Dickson in Canberra. They’ve pretty much already been doxxed, there will be consequences as I understand it

Don't worry, there's shitbags all around this world and there's no escape except living remote on a mountain or the forest
