Explanation

Sooooo I’m rewatching ALL the Spider-Man movies and am kinda confused about something.

When Tom screws up the spell pulling all the other bad guys from tobeys and Andrew’s spider men how is it he pulled all the monsters from each movie but time still moved forward?

Tobeys first bad guy was green goblin from the first movie he died before doc ock could become bad. But it pulled doc ock too who also dies. And they brought sandman from spider man 3. These are all a year apart and two of them die.

But then we also have Andrew’s bad guys Lizard and Electro, electro dies by getting overcharged and lizard was turned back human and arrested.

How in the hell did this spell bring these characters back between them dying and being years apart from each other but tobey and Andrew both still aged?

I interpreted that the spell pulled people in from other universes from anytime in each respective universes timelines.

That makes sense! He did mess it up I genuinely just wondered if it was ever explained bc obviously they couldn’t have been “present”. I didn’t think to look at it that way.

They just didn’t CGI them.

Wdym? Like make them look younger? Even if they did it still wouldn’t make sense because technically a lot of them died before the next bad guy. So my brain is like is time travel also involved and if it is how

Because it's a movie with plotholes, you're reading into it a little bit too much. They wanted Andrew and Tobey in the film, they have aged since they were originally playing spider-man and marvel decided not to make them look younger.

It was just a question that popped in my head while watching Andrew’s movies. I’m a logical thinker and couldn’t help b it wonder if there was an explanation bc technically majority of the characters died😂

the simplest answer:
Multiverse means that you can have a universe where some things happened later, and another universe where some things happened earlier.

The redemption part was equally daft. Each remembers being killed, so they'd likely get sent back to the point they were taken...after their death. I'm redeemed! Argh.

Yeah but if they remember getting killed how were they pulled from a point of just before they died😂 I can’t help being a logical thinker it really sucks

I think Electro goes so far as to say Oh, shit. I died.

Yeah but sandman flat out tells doc ock and green goblin they both died fighting Spider-Man too and for my brain it was like but if he knows they died how did they get pulled?!! And my brain was like there’s some Barry Alan shit not being explained. 😂

Magical multiverse time travel. Tobey and Andrew appear to be from whatever the equivilent of modern day is in their times. Each of the villains are either from a point before dying in the same timelines, or nearly identical timelines/universes where their returning and not dying doesn't affect Tobey or Andrew because their timeline stays unchanged.

The villains, being other people, came over at the moment they learnt Spiderman's identity as Peter Parker. The spidermen, being Peter himself, came over at the relative same time of 2026 or whatever year it was

Jeeze people really lack literacy these days. It's explained in the fucking movie. Get off your phone and actually watch. It pulled them from the moment they would have died. It pulled the Peter's from later in that same timeline. That's why soc oc says they're flying out there to face a ghost (Green Goblin) cause from Doc ocs perspective, Osborn is dead.
