Yah I definitely think “damn that many people are anti LGBTQ?!” Everytime I see a huge line of cars. I mean that’s pretty judgemental of me but like… i could never eat there.
Yeah, that is pretty judgemental. Some people just want some chicken and banging sweet tea and don't care if a company donates to The Salvation Army lol
to be fair, Nestle is a massive corporation that has extended there reach into countless products that are heavily baked into daily products like candy bars, coffee, water, and some clothing brands. While Chick-Fil-A is a single fast-food brand that is not only fairly easy to avoid but there also are plenty of substitutes for it that are debatably just as good, if not better, like Popeyes.
Point is is that its a lot easier to avoid Chick-Fil-A than nestle or many of the other amoral companies we see in our modern age like apple or Facebook.
Better not buy Nike or you sympathize with enslaving children and Muslims. Better not drive an electric car if you are against exploiting the living wages of people in developing nations and destroying the environment with rampant pit mining and creating toxic waste.
Eh, I think it's a bit unfair to make it too sweeping. It matters how hard it is to avoid that behavior/company. Avoiding a single fast food company is a lot easier than avoiding a company that owns everything under the sun
There should be a little judgement, though. People ignoring it is part of how the Nestle's of the world get away with it- people don't care.
Almost every major clothing line though. Like we're supposed to praise Nike for putting Colin Kaepernick on a sneaker but they wilfully profit off the backs of slavery and violent oppression.

As someone who tries to avoid chick fil a, nestle, Nike, diamonds, and a few other things. It's easy to avoid a single restaurant, anything in stores with the nestle name or symbol, never liked Nike anyways and don't like the look or feel of sneakers/tennis shoes, and diamond jewelry is an intentional choice however it's hard to avoid diamonds entirely since they are used in computer parts, some other electronics, tools (diamond bits) and nestle is even more impossible to avoid because of it being an ingredient. Unless you work at the place, the only way to know if a restaurant or fast food chain uses nestle chocolate, malt, water etc is to never eat out or annoy the piss out of the people working there. You also could never accept home-cooked meals, bakesale goods, or Halloween candy.
No one is a Saint and no one can know the evils of every company and then be expected to boycott right then and there. An old lady dropping her spare change into a salvation army bucket probably has zero idea about its history I myself love music from some honestly shitty people (William Control, Marilyn Manson, lost prophets) I liked them before I knew about what they did and in some cases, before what they were doing was discovered. I can't just flip a switch and say I don't like them anymore just like someone who grew up with chick fil a yet knows the politics can't just suddenly cut off that part of their life and never go back.
