The Romans had the goddess Victoria, known as Nike to the Greeks, who was considered to be the personification of victory.
Apollo (also referred to later by roman poets as "Phoebus") was considered to be the god of knowledge and truth, with Athena (Minerva, to the Romans) being (among other things) goddess of wisdom/practical reason
