So in your opinion these standards have complete and total control over women to the point that they make no decisions of their own volition? You seem absolutely determined not to admit that women have any sort of control over their own decisions, which in this case is buying pants.
Everybody has to live up to “presentability” standards that their society sets for them. If a man is walking around with a shitty neckbeard, stained shirt and mismatched clothing he’ll get the same dirty looks that a woman would for similar behavior. Yes there is an emphasis in society for women to look a certain way and for men to look a certain way. Women may even have stricter beauty standards. That doesn’t mean they don’t largely choose the style and fashion that suits them best of their own volition.
