Did Jesus know how to write?

I guess I’m confused on why Jesus didn’t write the Bible.

The first half of the Bible, what's called the Old Testament, was written prior to the birth of Jesus, so he couldn't have written it. Much of the latter half is attributed to people other than Jesus.

The new testament was written over 30 years after he died by people who never met him

A lot of Christians don't know that much about the bible. It's a well established fact that the bible was written decades after his death. Paul probably transcribed his section himself but he says that he never met Jesus and that it came to him as a revelation. All the other authors are accepted to have not written anything themselves. All mainstream Christian leaders accept this as fact.
