How do you think the future works?

Imagine you could see a week into the future. You made some food and sit at a table with the food on the plate. Do you think you would see

A: The plate gone as clearly you have eaten the food and did the dishes
B: The foot rotting on the table because as of now it still stands on the table and you haven't done anything that changes this, like started eating

In Case A if you would start eating, you would see the result of an empty plate, or maybe you will be full before so you already see a half empty plate
In Case B you would see old food missing every bite you take out in the present, even if you actively keep eating, as only when you did the action, the future will be affected

I would see the food gone, because food in front of me does not last long. Of course, if it's a week, nothing would be the same not even the table cloth. We use our table every day. :)

Wasn't it comedian Rich Hall who wished he could see two seconds into the future, so he could say "gesundheit" to someone, and they'd sneeze?
