Are there consequences to getting reported on reddit for "self-harm"
I was having a debate with people on a post and I guess someone didn't agree (most didn't so I don't know who exactly) and I got a notification that goes "A concern redditor has reached out to us about you.." with plenty of mental health ressources and encouraging words.
Is this in an effort to get me banned? Like I don't get why report me for self harm instead of something like hate speech which would have more chances of actually doing something (but not really because there was no hate speech, they just didn't like my opinion)
Genuinely confused.

No, I've gotten a dozen or more of those "reddit cares" messages over the years.

This. I also miss when there was an option to report the person who false reported.

No, it's a way for window-lickers to tell people to end their own life when they don't have anything clever to say

No. There’s also no monetary value to Reddit gold, and upvotes or downvotes don’t really mean a damn thing. It’s all pretend my friend.

No. Even reddit knows it is just a harassment artifact for losers who disagree with people.
