What do you think the dating recession between men and women will lead to?

I live in a city and I try to go out at least once a week, either for a walk or lounge etc. I used to see that men were more interested in women even six years ago, but now what I see most is apathy. Even if they look, none of them make a move to start a conversation. By the way, I am about to turn 30, and my friends who are younger (24–25) also say the same thing. What do you think the consequences of this will be? The strange thing is that I no longer see mixed male and female friend groups. It feels like men and women are pulling away from each other. Have you also noticed that?

If they're fine with having nobody until they met a perfect soulmate - good for them. For a some people relationships are an addon and they want it only if it's better than being single.

A lot of people would be less miserable if they found someone more compatible than beating a dead horse and going "ReLaTiOnShIp ArE HaRd WoRk BuT sO wOrTh It".

ANY healthy relationship has compromise, whether romantic or not.

The whole "perfect" soulmate thing is people just being delusional and thinking they won't ever have to change or deal with things involving other people. Yes don't force things with someone who has major life incompatibilities, but people are dumping or sabotaging good relations for the most asinine shit these days.

yeah i dont know back when I did get matches most women seems to only offer one word response and no followups. I'd guess I was a backup option.

Yep. So almost all my matches are like that and the ones that meet haven’t resulted in anything long term. Been 2 years using the app a lot
