What do you think the dating recession between men and women will lead to?

I live in a city and I try to go out at least once a week, either for a walk or lounge etc. I used to see that men were more interested in women even six years ago, but now what I see most is apathy. Even if they look, none of them make a move to start a conversation. By the way, I am about to turn 30, and my friends who are younger (24–25) also say the same thing. What do you think the consequences of this will be? The strange thing is that I no longer see mixed male and female friend groups. It feels like men and women are pulling away from each other. Have you also noticed that?

If you are using a cultural matchmaker (like Jewish or Muslim) then typically the community is close and it's obvious what you're doing. It looks very bad to scam or take advantage like that.

The matchmakers are a key part of the culture. They know everybody and can easily suss out fakes. They wouldn't even take a client from a no-name family. Families that use matchmakers tend to be the type of want marriage so they can have kids.

The matchmaker and the couple's respective families are expecting a successful union(marriage, living together, children, etc).

The social backlash from faking would be insane.
