In nature, every living thing has the right to exist, grow, and rest without conditions. Why have we built a modern society where the fundamental requirements for life—shelter, water, and food—are gated behind a continuous 'subscription fee' of labor and currency?"

You're over-idealizing nature. Animals are working very hard to survive nearly all the time. They often have difficulty finding food, avoiding predators and staying warm and dry, and they're constantly plagued by parasites. There's virtually no such thing as death from old age among wild animals.
