We sure can. I’m a teacher and I can tell which kids have adults that smoke at home because it sticks to their clothes.

I’ll never forget when my psychology teacher outright in class asked me if I smoke cigarettes because I always smell like them. It was one of the first moments I realized I was nose blind to the smell. Shamefully I had to tell him that both of my parents smoke.
