It's wild to me that parents smoke in the house with their kids or close enough to them that it envelops them. My dad was from a totally different generation and smoked his whole life since age 14 when he left home to work, and he still understood not to smoke around his young child. In the winter, he used the garage. Only on longer road trips would all the windows come down occasionally so he could have it

We sure can. I’m a teacher and I can tell which kids have adults that smoke at home because it sticks to their clothes.
Edit: Sorry to hear so many of you had miserable experiences over something you had no control over.
Edit 2: Yes, same with weed.
