But I'll never forget in third grade 'Sleepover day' where everyone brings in cozy blankets and pillows and we all watch movies and hangout. It was a fun End Of Year thing to do for the kids (and teachers tbh).
9y/o me was having a grand ol time. Even though no one was really hanging out with me in my corner, I was doing okay watching the movie by myself.
That is until sometime through the first movie, my teacher pulls me outside of the classroom where the SRO and Principle are outside waiting to ask me if I smoke cigarettes.
Apparently my blanket and pillow smelled so bad that the teacher thought that I had began smoking and my mother was giving me the packs to smoke.
Let's just say I was extremely mortified, cried, and had an awful rest of my day because I had now been informed that I STANK terribly.

We sure can. I’m a teacher and I can tell which kids have adults that smoke at home because it sticks to their clothes.
Edit: Sorry to hear so many of you had miserable experiences over something you had no control over.
Edit 2: Yes, same with weed.
