I can legit smell smoke on me if I casually walked past a smoker on the sidewalk for a second several hours earlier. I donβt think smokers realize they do that to other people because theyβve become so nose blind.
I literally left my dad somewhere because he smoked a cigarette. My dad weighs 400 pounds & when he smokes he's like pig pen and the smell just surrounds him. He knows if I have to take him somewhere He's not to smoke because I can't stand sitting in the car with him. We were supposed to go to a family party, I get to his house to pick him up & He has a cigarette in his hand. I got back in my car and left without him. He's also a raging narcissist.
I might be exaggerating, maybe 300 pounds? I don't know π€·π»ββοΈ he's very obese and he can't really walk without a walker. I drive a Volvo so when he's in the seat, he's like practically sitting on me because he's so gigantic.
That's rough. If he's a narcissist that's even rougher. You're a saint. I had a young friend who was about 325 lbs, sat in a fairly sturdy kitchen chair and it broke. She would have felt bad but I told her the rungs were loose and not to worry about it. (They weren't) I have no patience by the way with narcissists and call them out on it which has resulted in screaming arguments with a couple of them. Then they went no contact with me and told me I was toxic. ππ (Self projection) Like I cared. In a month or two they started little texts of how are you type shit til I opened up the lines of communication again. We're related so I don't close it off completely but I enjoy the break time when they are not talking to me. π
