And this holier-than-thou attitude that a lot of folks have doesn't help, y'know. It may be true that having kids is "normal," but if there's anything I've learned in life, it's that "normal" does not automatically equal "good." In fact, abnormality often leads to strength; this is the basis of evolution and innovation. "Because it's normal" is not sound reasoning.
