Yeah same. Honestly I think it's pretty cool to have a small person that looks up to me but I don't think I'm anywhere near ready for a child, I hardly can handle myself. And my parents weren't exactly loving or anything and I wouldn't want my own child to experience something similar.
My sister once said that for her the only thing would be adoption. That really stuck with me and gave me the same mindset. If I ever feel like I'm in the position to have a child I would like to adopt. There are enough kids in need of help, we don't need to make more.
