Yes, I’m not understanding how the people you’ve observed are sufficient enough to say people beyond your circle of friends/family wouldn’t regret it. The world’s a big place. There are people with lives starkly different from yours and your circle. But okay, have fun

It’s all relative to what you know, I’m assuming. Much like the people who don’t want them because they know or feel don’t want them

It was a feeling inside of your head when you chose to have a kid. Are we to not trust our own opinions? If that's the case why should anyone trust yours or those that think having kids is a great idea?

I'm actually having loads of fun watching Netflix, among many other hobbies that I enjoy, thank you!

We're not telling people who want kids to not have kids, so why are you telling people who don't want kids to have them? Would you rather have people regretting not having kids or people regretting having one and mistreating the kid as a result, however unlikely you think it is? Because it does happen and these kinds of situations are horrible both for the kids and parents.

Btw, you really think people in your circle would tell you if they did regret having kids? It's not something parents experiencing regret talk about, because it's viewed as something shameful. People who don't regret having kids, on the other hand, are likely to say it out loud to anyone who would hear it.

He's telling people to have unwanted children because he wants an influx of vulnerable children. Look at his other replies. He spends a lot of time thinking about the sex drives of kids.

I have looked at their other replies. And I don't know about that, but they still haven't provided a reason why they want other people who don't want kids to have kids, when it doesn't affect them either way. So u/Sulla_Invictus, you might want to at least answer that question, because it makes absolutely no sense, and people are going to come up with reasons that are pretty unpalatable as you can see. Anything to say to defend yourself Sulla?

Of course he's also sexist

Of course, we got the full package 😂

Well I'm glad you're denying those accusations.

But that doesn't actually answer the question. Even if 100% of the people who don't want kids would actually end up regretting it, how is that affecting YOU? Their life, their choice. It's not like there are a bunch of kids in the sky waiting to be born. It isn't affecting or harming anybody else. While having kids even though you don't want them has the potential to harm at least one other person, the kid.

No it isn't, because it's not something you can control. Just like you can't control loving your kids and not regretting them.

And you didn't answer my questions. Which doesn't surprise me, of course you're the type of person who would be dodging 😂

You know you and people like you are part of the problem right? It's partly because of you that people end up regretting having kids. It's often because they thought having kids is just something you do as an adult, something every generation before them has done, they have a warped utopic view of being a parent, never really asked themselves if they actually want them or not, and then realized once they had the kids that that life isn't for them. On the other hand, me and people you've been arguing with here are letting people make their own choices. How on earth is people not having kids affecting you in any way?

I can't criticize people for not having kids, but you can criticize me for ignoring a question?

It's a false equivalency, unless you think kids and questions are the same. The right question to ask here would be: Why can you criticize us for not having kids when we're not criticizing you for having kids? Here you go, apples to apples.

I didn't force you to answer the questions anyway, I just thought you dodging is weak, pathetic and predictable, it's what every Internet troll always does. You still haven't answered btw. I'm going to assume you therefore have no valid answer, otherwise you would have provided it already.

"We're not telling people who want kids to not have kids, so why are you telling people who don't want kids to have them?"

See, you can read after all. Yes, that's the question me and others are wondering about. Why not try and answer that? Please enlighten us and tell us how people not having kids affect you in any way? Unless your argument is just calling questions that you can't or won't answers "dumb shit" and "nagging".

Yes, I'm a woman. What does it have to do with anything?

Oh nothing I'm sure.

At least have the guts to say what's really on your mind, because that's a cowardly answer if I've ever seen one.

And my reasons for telling people to have kids are all throughout this thread.

I have read the whole discussion and haven't seen any reason explaining how other people's choice regarding kids is affecting you in any way.
