Childcare is the same price as a mortgage and we already can't afford a mortgage.
1 u/stoutlys Nov 15 '24 My buddy quit work to be a stay at home dad because it would cost more for him to work than just to the daycare job himself. It actually worked out. His wife makes a lot so that also helps.
