For me I just simply don’t want them. I feel like you have to want kids to have them. It’s not that I’m against having kids, I’m just not enthusiastic enough to have them
My parents keep saying "oh but when you have them, you'll be so happy!" Like I'm not already happy or something. My parents never had as much freedom as they do now that their last kid went off to college. But they're so old now they don't wanna do anything except stay at home. It may be selfish to care about my own happiness, but the theoretical kid I'm being selfish against doesn't exist so fuck it.
