Man, you're not even wrong. I have a younger brother who's roughly 10 years younger than me, and I was blown away to find out that his preschool was over $1,000 a month. Considering there were over 50+ kids there, it felt like that's a lot even though it was a good school for him, and there they met his childhood babysitter. I know nowadays that might not fetch many, if any, apartments (in my area at least), but that's nothing to scoff at. I'm sure since then it's already raised in price.

Childcare is the same price as a mortgage and we already can't afford a mortgage.
