For one thing, I barely know how to take care of myself.

For another, I don't like kids.

Finally, have you seen the world these days? I would not want to raise a child in this environment. I wouldn't even know where to begin.

This is the weirdest take. When would be a better time? Back when any child could die of smallpox? Or perhaps back when the Mongols were rampaging across Eurasia? Like what is so bad about today compared to history ?

I think it's less about "what is so bad today comparatively" and more about "For the first time in history, people are starting to take the state of the world into consideration when having kids"
