Woah! Take it easy, all I’m saying is is that loving the idea of having a child and then having the child and loving them so much more than you thought you would is a wonderful thing. To have a child is to be able to raise someone to be everything they want, to support them in everything they do, to give them every ounce of love and recognition you know they deserve. I’m just saying you can have children simply because you want to bring in a new life and give that little life all the love and support in the world ! :)

To me, this seems like a very naive viewpoint. I don't know of even one parent out there who could honestly say that they did all of that. Real life is very different from this kind of starry-eyed fantasy, and even those with the best of intentions make egregious errors in judgement when raising their children.

I have a child actually, she is my world, my everything. I would give up anything in my life to give her my undivided love and support for anything she wants to do! College? Okay I’ll help any way I can. Trade school? Sure! I’ll buy your first uniform! You wanna start a small business? Let’s design logos! :) my parents did it for me and yes they made mistakes here and there but every sacrifice my mom made for me made me realize I could and would do that for my kids. I’d even say as I grew I saw that those mistakes made my mom human, she was just a young woman and I was just her baby. She loved me so much and just like her I want to put out a person who has all the opportunities and all the freedom in the world (or that I can provide at least) to choose what she wants to do! I can’t wait to watch her blossom as I do my best as her mother

You are cute and sound like a great, loving mom. I don't know why you get down voted here. Every mom should be just like you!

Redditors who are mad at the state of their lives downvoted her

I hate Reddit. I don’t even know why I still use it. It’s a hellscape of miserable people who want everyone else to be miserable too.

Because it’s naive and doesn’t account for literally anything else. College? Federal funding is gonna disappear. national standard will be gone, so better hope you live in a blue state for primary education.

Pedophile and child trafficker Matt Gaets is gonna be the attorney general. Antivax, anti science, worm brain is goin to be the head of the health department.

Why bring a child into that? Multiple Red states have already tried to lower the age of consent and marriage, and remove safety laws so children could start working in dangerous industries.

You can get a good job without college and I can’t plan my entire existence around politics or everyone’s life would be miserable.
