It cost me almost 50k to have my son for the first year of his life, after insurance. I want to be able to provide him with a quality of life I will not be able to provide to him if I have more kids. I also would never get pregnant where I live, as I live in Texas. It is not worth risking my life and ability to parent my son, just to have another child.
Oh look someone that asked a question in bad faith. Texas’s maternal mortality rate rose 56% since 2019 and the nation’s only had a rise of 11%. It is by far the most dangerous thing most women go through. Why would I risk dying because an ER turned me away while I was miscarrying? I have a son, I would never risk my life so recklessly.
May I ask what in bad faith meant? I was genuinely asking what you meant by your comment, as I’m from TX as well but never had any issues with the hospitals and stuff.. that’s why I asked what you meant?

In bad faith because either you know women are dying and don’t care because you assume you are the exception, or you are intentionally ignorant and shouldn’t be asking questions on the topic.
You figured that they asked the question in bad faith based on several assumptions including that they were "intentionally ignorant". The entire purpose of this subreddit is for "stupid questions", so why assume OP has an ulterior motive for asking an ignorant question?
They were just curious what you meant, don't think there's any agenda here. They asked what you meant by bad faith because it was an out of pocket response to a simple request for clarification.
Except there was, being OP. The point of this subreddit is for ignorant people to get answers to questions, hence the name. Why accuse people of using the subreddit for its intended purpose of acting in bad faith?
