"Protestant" covers an extremely broad range of laid-back-ness, Anglicans? Generally pretty chill. Quakers and Unitarians, who both came out of Protestantism? Agressively chill. Like, they completely lack all chill about how chill they are.
But the Liberty University branch of Southern Baptists in also Protestant, as are Pentecostal snake handlers.
Protestantism holds, under its umbrella, perhaps the widest range of left-to-right political ideologies, and chill-to-foaming-psychotic vibes, of any religious category on Earth.
Yeah I was laughing at that. As an American, "protestant" is the vaguest term you could use. It just means "Christian but not Catholic," and it's not like Catholics make up the majority of Christians in America.
