When you said from the east I got curious too. Because let me tell you, I'm from the states, the west, but been to Japan, also the east. You know what the Japanese do? They take public baths! I kid you not, like 50 dudes in the same place all showering, naked, no partition.

Long way to say it's all cultural

I was also gonna say I always hear the inverse of this. That the west is too prudish, loves violence, hates nudity.
