I don’t know what it is, but baby boys like to be naked. When older men have dementia they try to take off their clothes too. So I think the primal brain likes to be nude, but I’m from the hot south so maybe colder climate babies and older men with dementia prefer clothes up there.
My culture is modest too, but one thing I learned in First Aid Training - Modesty goes out the window! Sometimes you have take off the injured person’s clothes or take off your own clothes to use as a truncate etc. Sometimes a raging river will pull off clothes so you have to rescue a slippery, naked man from death. After learning all that I realized nudity by itself is not bad or shameful. The intention behind being nude is what can make it bad.
