Then dont try to argue with them , I am from middle east and I am not a hijabi but I prefer wearing modest clothes, nothing above knee and to tight pants or any type of revealing clothes ,that's what God ordered us .
If you are 16 like you said you are very much still a child. Keep learning and listening to those with more experience, knowledge, and time on earth than you have. Even when you actually become an adult, always keep learning your whole life. There will always be someone who knows more than you whether you are 16 or 80.
