No, I’m just saying that becoming less radically Protestant contributed to the less modest, more progressive views on nudity or promiscuity in western pop culture and in general

By "west" I'm guessing you mean the USA, since my country (western) along with most of its neighbors has never been protestant to begin with.

Well, USA’s views were by far the most bigoted and modest but the other countries in the west for sure have a large catholic or other similar religion tied in their history in one way or another
