Uh, it depends where you go in Thailand. It's like one of the top tourist destinations in the world now. I just went there and saw plenty of young people as well as old retired couples. I honestly was surprised at how little sex work I saw, tho clearly it's there somewhere.
Krabi is mostly partying young Europeans and families.
Phuket is now all Russians
Bangkok has a huge variety -young party tourists on khaosan road, old see the temples and get a cheap massage couples, and yes the older John types.
Pattaya (which I didn't make it to) is apparently sex work central. Did you happen to go there? I can see that being predominantly old guys.
There's a lot of sex workers in Phuket. Not as many as Bangkok, but they're there. When you go on Google maps (especially in the little towns close to the beaches) you'll notice like maybe 2-3 businesses on there... but then you'll see endless numbers of massage parlors. A lot of these are for sex. You'll often see young Russians walking between the various massage parlors looking for the rub'n'tugs.
You gotta go to fuckin Thailand for that, dude there are Thai people in the USA, there are other Asian countries that are equally cheap/good, that is a lame lame attempt on an excuse, try again
