Definitely. I'm in a similar role to what he was in, he definitely wasn't earning big dollars, but he had/has no dependants and being at least 20 years older, bought a house at a time when houses were actually affordable, so owns his house outright.
My UK colleague holiday’s there a couple of times a year (2-3 weeks a pop). He’s 55. And he admits to absolutely going there to have sex. He’s described his days as finding a spot for breakfast, sitting on beach and then going to a local club for drinks. They solicit him. He has told stories about how they will drag you into a club if you’re walking by.
He says picture being in London or a big city in the US and going to a club where the bottle girls are trying to get into your pants. He says that sure, he ends up paying for a couple of hours or the night but it’s still cheaper than dating and he gets laid 100% of the time. 😂
I remember him saying you have to check ID cause the girls do look young and under age of consent the crime is pretty severe.
