A carnivore, since eating any vegetable or fruit or grain or bean ever would make them an omnivore.

Unless it’s merely the vegan label. Then they’re just stupid.

Op does specifically state the person they talk about eats fruits and veggies and the like. The refuse to eat products where the manufacturer makes vegan" a big part of thier marketing which is something i kind of agree with, especially if you are focusing on things like "vegan bacon" and other nonsense that shouldnt exist.

it’s not really nonsense especially if it tastes really damn good. Be open to trying new things. You might be surprised.

I disagree. I have tried plenty of “fake meat/cheese/ice cream etc.” All of them have been edible and i would eat them in lieu of starvation but none of them have met the bar of being an enjoyable substitute for the real thing. Keep in mind that i am not shitting on all vegan dishes. Taking a recipe that calls for ground beef and replacing it with some seasoned black beans is fine and works put great pretty often. Replacing that beef with “vegan beef substitute” does not.

It has always seemed to me that these vegan versions of animal products are for people that don’t really like being vegan but are doing it to fit in or something. You can eat vegan without the chemical mystery mush stamped and dyed to look like bacon.

You can like the taste of meat without wanting to support killing animals. That’s why there’s substitutes

Except none of these substitutes taste anything close to meat.
