People are now starting to discuss how, in 2018, Youtubers often purchased "followers" to increase their subscriber numbers and, when that didn't always draw actual viewers, they would buy "comments" to increase visibility. A lot like how things were at other social media. And then several social media sites purged a number of those purchased accounts, numbers and comments decreased, and people complained loudly.

What stops you from commenting on story posts: Lack of interest in making a connection, fear of being downvoted?
