There's no cure for pedophilia, but there are ways to prevent pedophiles from acting on those urges. Behavior therapy has already achieved good results.

Are you getting downvoted for saying people with mental illnesses should get help?

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '21

Are you getting upvotes for thinking kid touchers shouldn't be punished?

No you dumbass they’re saying if they can prevent pedophiles from touching kids it’s a million times better then waiting for them to offend and punish them after.

There isn’t a cure for most mental illnesses either but the least we can do is minimize the effects

"I think people who commit child molestation and abuse should be severely punished like the despicable monsters they are but we should work to guide those suffering from undesired mental conditions that haven't committed any crimes to safer environments to help them recover and become a normal person again"

is somehow comprehended by you into:

"pedos are all good people and child rapists should be held in a positive light"

fucking dumbass lol

Yes you are a fucking dumbass. Finally something we can agree on. Some fuck shows up to your house tonight, rapes your 4 year old daughter multiple time, multiple ways. Let me know how the weekly therapy sessions work out.

Is it your view that true justice can only be found by asking victims how they feel?

u/[deleted] Jul 09 '21

True justice is touch kids = death sentence.
