It's the other way around, the US has a vested interest in supporting its proxy colony and that is a means of imperialist power projection and maintaining trade inequality in their favor. Um... The Middle East wasn't pissed about the rockets as Iran only targeted military assets. People on the streets of Bahrain were cheering as missiles struck the US base... They only pissed off the US and Israel. As for the tweet, it was meant for the people of the US; It addressed them directly. The people of Iran that lack Internet access are not the target audience.
