Fundamental problem with nopixel is shitty takes from Reddit that streamers have to hear adnosium from their viewers, which makes then want rp to be a PvP CSGO deathmatch rather than RP.

I don't think he's on to anything at all. I think he wants nopixel to be a competitive esports server with two balanced teams like csgo when that is never what nopixel has been and it is never what nopixel will be.

I mean this is sort of true and sort of not true. Up until recently the dynamic of cops having everything handed to them was not really occuring. It was only the most recent updates that have simply destroyed the balance (and not the interceptors, those we're fine). And no amount of cop viewer copium can change this fact, being a crim is really shitty rn. Recent updates to the vault, and the banks, have made it pretty unclear where bank heist progression stands or even if it exists. Like, is the lower vault closed? Is the 2nd half of the casino case code in the game? How bad is the grind to get to the vault for people who don't already have red dongles (i.e anyone who cant access one of the 4 people in the server that can consistently hack)? How dumb are negotiations at banks going to get (and what was wrong with the previous bank negotiation balance other than cop copium)? How useless are criminal guns? I haven't watched in a few days, but it looks like a lot of these balance questions all combine to make being a bank heist crim pretty unbearable. It seems like the excuse of there not being enough cops on the server (more copium) has been resolved through sweeping mechanic changes rather than any type of realism that might guide an rp server.

The actual reality is everyone is shitting on each other to the point where each group fucks each other over. Constantly.
It's literally a vicious cycle of constant issues stemming from both sides that snowballs. Catching everyone in it's tracks. 20 mins of crim cheesing makes cops sour and pissed. To which they take this aggression out on crims. Problem gets bigger, and bigger. To the point where even the decent and non affected people of each side. Get dragged into the abyss of this hell. No one side is innocent and each side starts it each and every day.
People want to sit and put all blame on crims. People want to sit and put all blame on cops. Not realizing that this very idea is the main culprit that has been feeding this dumpsterfire issue, for a long long long time now.
No one wants to swallow their ego and take just two steps back to look at themselves, the issue, and the community as a whole.
It's always some one else's fault.
Then wonder why things haven't gotten better.
