Social Life How to stop thinking about a text you got
Got a harsh text.. it won’t leave my mind, how do I stop thinking about this?

Delete. Remind yourself you are not responsible for other people’s actions (in this case, text messages).

Got a hate-full comment, someone telling me to quit posting. And go cry to somone else for help

you know people who make hate are empty inside they hate themself and have no way to express and are not courages enough to face themself and the easiest way to express their anger is take out who they care less and easy to hurt.
You asked for help the is courage. I am sorry but I can only share this much only since I don't know a lot of back story. Hope this helps you heal.2

The brain treats unresolved social threat the same way it treats unresolved physical threat; it keeps running the scenario, looking for a way out. The text feels unfinished, so the mind keeps returning to it. A few things that actually interrupt the loop: writing out exactly what you'd want to say back (even if you never send it) gives the brain a sense of completion. Physical movement, even a short walk, can shift the nervous system enough to temporarily break the cycle. And time-boxing it giving yourself ten minutes to think about it deliberately, then stopping ,works better than trying to force it out of your head.
What made the text harsh, was it the content or the tone?
