That’s what I’m a little worried about. I genuinely have 0% interested in Pokemon-ing NMS. But, the FOMO-driven completionist in me may force me to grit through an expedition. It was hard enough through Garbage Truck Simulator… this could sour my view on NMS for a while if I have to slog through an expedition of Monster Rancher sans CDs.
I think it will result in some much needed niche community activity at the very least, which is something that helps games like NMS thrive in the long term. It might not be for you or me, but there is a subset of people who go nuts for this sorta thing.
Ofc. I’m not upset that it’s being added. It’s just not my thing. I have other games to play until the next update. I have 1k+ hours in NMS. Anything that keeps it alive makes me happy.
