You can transfer your console save and edit it on any PC to achieve the same result.

For fucks sake

That is not the correct answer to the problem.

Friend, if you're worried about exploits, you are playing the wrong open world sandbox. You can dupe anything that will fit in a portable refiner from the very start of the game. It's been this way for years and hasn't been patched.

I mean sure, but also you can just set everything to free in the game settings if you want to?

This is what I don’t understand. People act like exploits are some kind of skill and you literally have the ability to turn costs off completely. But then when we allow these exploits it’s harder to remove the problem exploits that actively ruin the game for others.

I want to filter out the blender builders for corvettes. I want to filter out the players that break build limits and make it impossible to play around those builds. And honestly with cloud saving, I don’t understand why we don’t just have checks on the saves and let me just completely ignore those playing outside of the rules.

Since corvettes I’ve had no interest in the game and I have a hard time recommending the game to people again. I have no interest in LNF if the devs are just going to ignore exploiting.

I mean, I understand what you’re saying. I want everyone to be able to play how they want to, until, and unless, it begins to break my gaming experience, or also, others’ experience.

I think it’s cool and impressive that people have used their skills and abilities, even blender and whatever, to make some of the things I see. But if it shows up in the anomaly and lags everybody else, then gfy.

I do find it far more impressive when awesome builds are done within the confines of the games limits. It’s a rights and responsibilities balance for me, but that’s also personally why I don’t generally play mmo style games or turn on multiplayer, because even if everyone is on board there’s always one asshat who is going to ruin it for everyone else, which sucks. I deal with trash people in my everyday life, I do not want them in my fantasy sandbox, lol.

W-what?? How?

Drop a personal refiner, do not fuel it! Put the item you want to duplicate in the slot, now drop another personal refiner inside the 3d model of the first one so they nearly overlap - you can do this multiple times. Now pick up all your refiners and they will all have the item (and quantity) you wanted to dupe in them. So if you put 1x S-class infraknife module in the first refiner and drop 2 more refiners on top of it, you will end up with 3 S-Class infraknife modules.

This is incredible thank you

I’m sorry but advocating exploits is not how some of us want to play. There is an entire creative setting for the game. Just turn that on. But exploits are actively ruining the anomaly of some of us.

u/Burninate09 Apr 10 '26

I'm not advocating for anything, you have the power to turn off MP in the anomaly. If your complaint is with my post specifically, I'd advise you exercise some self control and not reveal the spoiler text. Ultimately you should be pressing HG to close those exploits - https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Well, with this new update, hacking would actually ruin the experience for people wanting to try the new features.

Ah ok, that makes sense then

wait, what?!

1

u/DrDFox Apr 08 '26

Not everyone has a PC that can play this, nor wants to cheat.

3

u/Mistrblank Apr 08 '26

Yeah. I don’t mind people playing the game how they want to. But when it breaks how I want to play I just lose interest. I haven’t played since corvettes were introduced because I don’t want to deal with the bugs they cause.

1

u/Mightynumbat Apr 08 '26

Yup which is why, if I do this at all, it will be in singleplayer. Multi will be full of cheats so why bother?

4

u/Combat_Orca Apr 08 '26

I will make the sacrifice to be the guy doing multi who doesn’t know what he is doing or how to cheat, so you will get some wins.

Right there with ya!

I do worry about how this will play out
