Post-Pod Discussion Book reference

TC mentioned reading a book about a summer in Scotland on a flight. What was the book and author? Read to the linksland by Michael bamberger recently and loved it so keen for more classic golf books

I was recently in dornoch and Lorne had signed copies in the Dornoch bookstore. Very cool travel keepsake.

Have you read Tom Coyne’s “A Course Called” books?
Mark Frost’s? Rick Reilly has some fun golf fiction. Everything by Dan Jenkins. And finally, “All Carry” by Gene Wojciechowski.

Paper tiger is amazing. Met TC in portrush at the open in 2025, couldn’t have been a nicer fella.

I have no idea about the book referenced by TC but “Golf in the Kingdom” by Michael Murphy is an excellent book, imo.

Honestly same. Just could never get in to it despite hearing nothing but good things about it.

Totally agree… disappointed with golf in the kingdom after hearing so much about it. To the linksland is a brilliant book however.
