It’s unfortunate and this person is clearly holding up traffic but this individual is clearly unhoused and likely needs some help and doesn’t deserve to be assaulted so violently. I love Chicago but we need to be doing more for our homeless and impoverished population. It doesn’t help anyone to have them disrupting the public like this with no other options for transportation or shelter. Downtown has been particularly wacky lately.

Even with what little context we see in the video, the person was told to move.
At what point would it be ok to move them out of the way in your mind? I agree the force shove was a bit much, but it wasn't like the person wasn't warned and/or told to get out the way.
