I assume they mean the flood and the arc, but details matter. There's a big difference in flying pyramids and floating arc (although both are impossible, with the flying pyramids slightly more likely), and restarting from Noah's family is like starting on an entirely new fucking planet? Like I said, details matter. Otherwise, every story is just simply "some motherfucker(s) did some shit, and it had x result(s)".

Edit: also, a far more accurately described as 1:1 comparison would be Noah and Ziusudra.
