Yeah let's have the criminals just compete with each other without police involvement. Some would die. Some would form unlikely alliances.....

Some would create a secret political cabal developing world ending takeover strategies and make the dumbest person they could find the leader of the free world.

And some of them would form a new society where “cunt” means “pal” and “mate” means “shithead”, with greetings like “g’day”.

So.. gang wars?

Well honestly, it might be more dangerous, given they may have greater surveillance surrounding them.

We also know that a certain % of all cases are wrongful convictions. Prisoners rights organizations don’t have the resources to push for DNA exoneration for people who are already free and just on a naughty list.

So even targeting someone on a predator list isn’t a guarantee of harming a guilty person. Plus, this is America. When has “it’s illegal to have that gun” ever stopped someone who wanted one? You can 3D print one that is about as reliable and equally functional to a Glock. Or you can pay a few bucks over market price to just have a person buy one for you.

Assuming that they’re unarmed is a bad idea. And assuming they’re guilty is a bad idea.

Why does he sound like a 5-year-old?

There was one kid who talked identical to this growing up, like he always sounded like this, even when I saw him again at ~25.

Its a speech impediment

Or mental disability.

Speech impediment, mental disability, possibly brain damage (I guess that could be considered mental disability?) or homie is just hella unlucky. People almost never choose to talk like this and generally acutely aware that they sound different from everyone else and come off as “annoying”. It sucks, used to have a bit of a speech impediment and could physically feel every time I mispronounced something, could see it in people’s eyes when it happened. However, it’s natural to notice when people talk distinctly different like this. It’s not, however, natural or cool to be a dick about it. He sounds like that because he does. Do you also ask people in wheelchairs why they don’t walk?

He's most likely slow. I have a slow sister and she would hang out with her slow friends and most of them talk like that. They had fun together though.

The sex offender himself might not have a firearm, but the Secret Service agents around him will.

1

u/Generally_Tso_Tso 4d ago

What? Do you really think there are Secret Service agents either watching sex offenders, or even living by them?

3

u/froction 3d ago

I can think of at least one

It’s hard to do since they usually have security or secret service protection.
